Living By the Word of Yahowah

We often hear someone parrot the words of the Ma'aseyah when He stated, "The truth will make you free." However, many seem to ignore the fact that He attached a condition to that promise: the truth will make us free only if we know it, and we will only know it if we continue in His Word.

Yah is Merciful / Yaochanan / John 8:31,32 (see note below)
So Yahowsha said to those Yahudim who believed in Him,
"If you continue in My Word,
then truly you are My taught ones,
and you will know the truth,
and the truth will make you free."

It's a plain and simple IF-THEN-ELSE promise (the ELSE is implied):

  • IF we continue in His Word, and do not depart from it,
  • THEN we are truly His taught ones
  • and we will know the truth,
  • and the truth will set us free.
  • ELSE we are not His students at all
  • because we are not continuing in His Word,
  • and we will never be allowed to know the truth.
  • We will never be free.

It is cut and dried. The eternal consequences at stake make it imperative that we meet the conditions set forth by Yahowsha, the Son of Yahowah. We must continue in His Word.

So what does that mean? Well, first, here is what it does not mean. "Continuing in the Word of God" does not mean starting to go to church every Sunday. It does not mean trying to conform to a set of rules we were taught by religious clerics at sometime in our lives. "Continuing in the Word of God" has nothing at all to do with religion or religious practices. You got that?

Reject religion! It is Babylon!

So what does "Continuing in the Word of God" mean? It means that we must base our every opinion and doctrine strictly on what He has to say about things. He is always right, and everyone who disagrees with Him is always wrong. It is black and white; there is no gray area here.

If we do not care enough about the truth
to seriously study and carefully research His Word
with an open mind and an attitude of thoughtful humility,
with our hearts ready to agree with Him at all costs,
then Yahowah is under no obligation to us
to open our eyes to the truth.

If we try to play a religious game with Him, we shall find that He isn't going to play. Instead, He will let us find and be deceived by whatever it is we have already decided to believe. Whatever it is that we end up finding, it is certain that it won't be Him, or His Son, or His truth.

There was a man, one of Isra'el's kings of old, who had rejected Yahowah's Covenant and who despised Yahowah's words and prophets. His name was Ahab. One day Yahowah's patience came to an end and He issued the order for Ahab to die. Do you know how He brought that about? He authorized a spirit to persuade Ahab to believe a lie. No, really, He did. You can read the whole story by clicking here. So we see the danger of deliberately choosing to reject Yahowah's Word: He can justifiably reclaim His right to do with us as He wishes. Free will would no longer be an option. How long before He makes that drastic move? I don't want to find out. Do you?

We have to be judgmental towards the internal and external thoughts and attitudes which confront us; we must make a distinction between clean and unclean, between what is acceptable to our Father in heaven and what is unacceptable to Him, and between good and evil. We must strive to walk in accordance with His instructions twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, rather than just every now and then, or when we find ourselves in difficulties. Above all, we must prefer His Word over every doctrine and tradition added by religion.

But more than all of that, we must allow Him to get to know us, even as we get to know Him through His Word. He loves us. That is why He wrote with His own finger on the tablets of stone His 3 statements and 7 instructions. It is why He entrusted Moshe and Moshe's servant, Yahowsha, the son of Nun, to write down everything He said to them, so that we would have a written record of His thoughts and desires for us. Without His Word, we cannot know Him.

Every Religion Opposes Yahowah

One of the goals of the Bless Yahowah site is to help you continue in His Word, free from the add-ons of religion. Religions are violently opposed to Yahowah, every single one of them. Rabbis, priests, popes, preachers, and other clerics have added to and taken away from the words of our Savior for centuries. They have lied to their trusting audiences with astonishing arrogance and regularity. They have corrupted millions upon millions of souls with their man-made religious doctrines. But the Word of Yahowah stands forever, and the human embodiment of that Word, Yahowsha of Nazareth, promises that He will set us free if we faithfully continue to study His Word, accept the authority of His Word, and order our lives according to His Word.

We do not need religion in order to know and please our God, and we are under no compulsion to submit ourselves to the rules of any cleric or religious organization. Understand that. Do not let yourself be bullied by any man or woman. You have the right to a one-on-One relationship with your Creator through His one and only Family-Oriented Covenant, free from the religious burdens, dogmas, rituals, and chains that ungodly men and women would impose on you.

Are you listening to this? It's important.

We each have one Teacher: Yahowsha, the Son of Yahowah. If we are not being taught by Him personally, on a One-on-one basis, then we are not fully realizing what it is to be His. He wants to teach us Himself, and He does not desire for His teaching to be filtered by man. He also wants me to understand my relationship with others who have trusted in Yahowah through Him.

Yah Has Given Us A Gift / Mattanyah / Matthew 20:25-27
But Yahowsha called them to Himself and said, "You know that the rulers of the foreign nations lord it over them, and their great men exercise authority over them. It is not this way among you. But whoever wishes to become great among you will be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you will be your slave; just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."

What that says to me is that I am not to follow the examples of those of this world. Nor am I to try to use my age and/or experience in the Royal Family as some sort of justification for demanding the right to control others. Rather, I am to behave as I did when I first had my eyes opened to the Truth: fresh, enthusiastic, and joyful, as opposed to being hardened and cynical. And I am to eagerly and happily serve my brothers and sisters in Yahowah, just as our older Brother did when He walked among us.

There is no place or tolerance for religion in the Family of Yahowah.

Salvation / Hosha / Hosea 4:6 (traditional "translation")
My people perish for lack of knowledge.

Salvation / Hosha / Hosea 4:6 (literal translation)
"People, families, nations, congregations, and followers
without comprehension and consideration,
without teaching, instruction, information, and discernment,
without knowledge and wisdom being imparted to them,
without perception and understanding,
who do not think and distinguish between truth and deception,
pondering and processing the evidence
so as to respond appropriately,
come to ruin,
living their personal lives in chaos
so that they are ultimately destroyed."

Wow. That's quite a difference, isn't it? But that's what it says.

The following are all true:

  1. Ignorance is a choice.
  2. Ignorance will not be accepted as a justifiable excuse for missing the mark.
  3. To follow Religion is to commit adultery against Yahowah.
  4. The consequence of ignorance is eternal separation from Yahowah.
  5. The consequence of following a religion is eternal separation from Yahowah.
  6. There is no such place as "a sinner's hell". That is a myth constructed by ha Satan's mouthpieces throughout the religions.
  7. Separation from Yahowah occurs as either the annihilation of the soul or the spending of eternity imprisoned with the adversary and all his other spiritual and human agents, each prisoner isolated from all the others in "the blackness of darkness" where "there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth."
  8. Anyone who promotes one of man's Towrah-rejecting sytems is an agent of Yahowah's foremost enemy, aka, the Lord (ha ba'al in Hebrew), ha satan (literally, "the adversary").
  9. Man's systems include all of the religions, patriotism, and the other sundry schemes of self-governance. Each is part of man's "We're going to do things our way, so shut up and go away!" attitude.

The Word of Yahowah is All We Need

Names / Shemoth / Exodus 24:3,4 (see explanatory note)
And Moshe came and told all the words of Yahowah to the people, and all the judgments. … And Moshe wrote all the words of Yahowah. …

We read that Moshe (aka Moses) told the people of Israel all the words Yahowah had spoken to him. He didn't put on airs and act as though he was someone special who could understand deeper things than the rank and file Israelite. He told them all the words of Yahowah, every one of them. Then, in verse 4, we learn that he also made a written record of all the words of Yahowah. Again, he didn't keep back or hide any of our Creator's words. He wrote them all down, every one of them. And he didn't add anything else to them.

Not many people seem to be aware of this, but the book of Yahowsha is also a part of the Towrah.

Yah Saves / Yahowsha / Joshua 24:26 (see explanatory note)
Then Yahowsha wrote these words in the Book of the Instructions and Teachings of God. And he took a large stone, and set it up there under the oak that was by the set-apart place of Yahowah.

Yahowah considers His words to be 100% sufficient. And those are the very words which Moshe repeated to the Israelites and then carefully wrote down. Yahowah plainly instructs us not to add to His words and not to take away from them.

Words / Dabarim / Deuteronomy 4:2 (see explanatory note)
"You will not add to the Word with which I charge you, nor take from it, to keep the instructions of Yahowah your God with which I charge you."

Yet for centuries rabbis have added their oral traditions to Yahowah's plain and simple words, and they have gathered them into a monstrous document called The Talmud, which consists of about 12,800 printed pages in the Soncino Babylonian Talmud, not counting introductions, indexes, glossaries, and other pieces. The rabbis require the followers of Judaism to submit to and obey their oral traditions to the letter. That evil practice was already in full swing during Yahowsha's lifetime and it continues to this very day more intense than ever. The rabbis have removed Yahowah's Name from His Word and have forbidden their followers from speaking it. Yahowah opposed the rabbis and their oral traditions centuries ago through His only begotten Son, the Righteous Servant and promised Prophet, Yahowsha of Nazareth, and He opposes them today through me and His other brothers and sisters living throughout the world.

Roman Catholicism and Christianity are just as guilty: they have completely discarded the Towrah and Yahowah's Set-Apart Feasts in favor of Paul's new religion, Christianity, which includes liberal doses of thinly disguised Babylonian paganism. They have created a new religion which abrogates the Towrah, and they enthusiastically participate in pagan-based religious holidays, which they have renamed Christmas, Easter, Halloween, Mardi Gras, Lent, etc. Moreover, their popes, pastors, preachers, cardinals, evangelists, apostles, nuns, and other cheerleaders for the devil have insisted that we refer to our Father by one of the Adversary's titles, "the Lord", and to the Son by a completely made-up name, "Jesus Christ".

They are the walking dead, every one of them. They just don't know it. Yet.

"Come Out of Her, My People!"

Yahowah never made a covenant with anyone except Yahudim (Jews). If someone wishes to participate in fellowship with Yahowah through His Son, Yahowsha, then that person must be adopted into the Royal Family, the family of Yahudah. My friend, you do not have to be a descendent of Abraham to be Yahudim, which by definition means "a family member of Yahowah." Yahowsha declared that Yahowah is able to make descendents of Abraham from rocks, so being a descendent of Abraham is not the be- all-end-all doorway to fellowship with Yahowah.  As the Scripture records, everyone is cheerfully accepted who accepts Yahowah's right to call the shots and follows the directions He set forth in His Word. Such persons are immediately marked for adoption into His Royal Family.

It is time for those of us who are serious about walking with Yahowah to immediately heed Yahowsha's dire warning: "Come out of her, My people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues!" We are told with urgency to leave religion and man's political systems, which are called in the revelation given to Yaochanan, "Mystery, Babylon the Great, the Mother of the Harlots and of the Abominations of the Earth".

That is, by the way, pretty much what Yahowah was saying to Abram when He called him to leave Babylon way back when!

In the Beginning /Bare'syth / Genesis 12:1-1 (see explanatory note)
Now Yahowah said to Abram, "Go forth from your country, and from your relatives, and from your father's house ..."

Let us eagerly return to Yahowah's Towrah (teachings, instructions, guidance for living, means to settle disputes). Let us remember His Sabbath (twilight Friday to twilight Saturday), that it was set apart by Him on the seventh day of creation, centuries before there were any Hebrews or the written Towrah. Let us steadfastly and stubbornly reject the pagan practice of worship, and let us give no honor whatsoever to the day they have dedicated to "the venerable sun god" (Sunday). Let us carefully consider and closely observe Yahowah's instructions regarding what is and what is not to be used as food (see Leviticus 11). And let us start celebrating Yahowah's seven festival feasts (Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Sevens, Trumpets, Reconciliations, and Tabernacles—see Leviticus23) rather than Christianity's demon-inspired holidays (Christmas, Easter, All Saints Day, St. Patrick's Day, etc.).

Yahowsha, Yahowah's only begotten Son, faithfully read and ordered His life according to the Towrah (see note). His so-called apostles—that is, His specially prepared and sent-out envoys—who had walked with the prophesied Prophet almost 24-7 during His public time here on earth, read and closely examined the Towrah, even after Yahowsha returned from the dead in a different body and had ascended back into heaven. They taught the new Yahudim to continue in the Towrah, which is why many of the Pharisees and priests came to trust in Yahowsha through the preaching of Kepha, Ya'aqob, and Yaochanan (commonly - and mistakenly - referred to as Peter, James, and John).

Because the remaining Eleven and the other true Yahudim were careful to read and thoughtfully consider Yahowah's Towrah, they were allowed continued access to the Temple and synagogues. If Kepha, Yaochanan, and the other Yahudim had been teaching that reading and carefully considering the Towrah was no longer necessary, the use of the Temple would have been forbidden to them by the Temple authorities. Most likely, they would have been put to death for blasphemy. Yet we read in the book of Acts (see note below) that they were daily in the Temple and that many of the priests came to understand that Yahowsha was the Son of Yahowah through their preaching. I invite you to ponder the implications of that.

We do well, I think, to start our new life by following their examples: let us read and carefully consider Yahowah's Towrah as they did, ordering our lives so as to live in a way that pleases Him.

YHWH in Paleo-Hebrew, 66x21 = יהוה = ee-ah-oh-ah = Yahowah

Song / Mizmor / Psalm 19:7
Yahowah's Towrah is complete and entirely perfect, returning and restoring the soul. Yahowah's testimony is trustworthy and reliable, making understanding and obtaining wisdom simple for the open-minded and receptive.

Yahowah's (YHWH in Paleo-Hebrew, 66x21) Towrah (torah – teaching, guidance, direction, and instruction) is complete and entirely perfect (tamym – without defect, lacking nothing, correct, genuine, right, helpful, beneficial, and true), returning and restoring (suwb – transforming) the soul (nepesh – consciousness). Yahowah's testimony ('eduwth – restoring and eternal witness) is trustworthy and reliable ('aman – verifiable, confirming, supportive, and establishing), making understanding and obtaining wisdom (hakam – educating and enlightening oneself to the point of comprehension) simple for the open-minded and receptive (pethy – easy for those who are receptive).

Footnotes:

Yah is Merciful / Yaochanan / John

Yaochanan was the special envoy known as the Beloved, "the apprentice that Yahowsha loved." Yaochanan means "Yah is merciful." We English-speaking people erroneously substitute John for the name Yaochanan, causing the name's precious meaning to be hidden from us. There are many of the Hebrew names in the Scriptures which included "Yah", a common abbreviation of the Creator's Name. Examples include names in our English "Bibles" ending in "iah" (Isaiah, or Yashayah, "Salvation is of Yah") and "jah" (Elijah, or Eliyah, "God is Yah"). There are more, and I encourage you to look them up. Oh, and don't forget "HalleluYah", which means, "Give praise to Yah."

The Death of Ahab

1 Melekim / 1 Kings 22:1-40
They continued three years without war between Syria and Isra'el. It happened in the third year that Yehoshaphat, the king of Yahudah, came down to the king of Isra'el.

The king of Isra'el said to his servants, "You know that Ramoth Gilead is ours, and we are still, and don't take it out of the hand of the king of Syria?"

To Yehoshaphat he said, "Will you go with me to battle to Ramoth Gilead?"

Yehoshaphat said to the king of Isra'el, "I am as you are, my people as your people, my horses as your horses.  Please inquire first for the word of Yahowah."

Then the king of Isra'el gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them, "Shall I go against Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall I forbear?"

They said, "Go up! For the Lord will deliver it into the hand of the king!"

But Yehoshaphat said, "Isn't there here a prophet of Yahowah, that we may inquire of him?"

The king of Isra'el said to Yehoshaphat, "There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of Yahowah, Mikayah the son of Imlah. But I hate him, for he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil."

Yehoshaphat said, "A king speaks?"

Then the king of Isra'el called an officer, and said, "Quickly! Fetch Mikayah, Imlah's son."

Now the king of Isra'el and Yehoshaphat, the king of Yahudah, were sitting each on his throne, arrayed in their robes, in an open place at the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets were prophesying before them.

Zidkiyah the son of Kina'anah made horns of iron for himself, and said, "Thus says Yahowah, 'With these you shall push the Syrians, until they are consumed.' " All the prophets prophesied the same way, saying, "Go up to Ramoth Gilead, and prosper! For Yahowah will deliver it into the hand of the king!"

The messenger who went to call Mikayah spoke to him, saying, "Now look, the prophets declare good to the king with one mouth. Please let your word be like the word of one of them, and speak good."

Mikayah said, "As Yahowah lives, what Yahowah says to me, that I will speak."

When he had come to the king, the king said to him, "Mikayah, shall we go to Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall we forbear?"

He answered him, "Go up and prosper! Yahowah will deliver it into the hand of the king!"

The king said to him, "How many times do I have to adjure you that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the Name of Yahowah?"

He [Mikayah] said, "I saw all Isra'el scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. Yahowah said, 'These have no master. Let them each return to his house in peace.' "

The king of Isra'el said to Yehoshaphat, "Didn't I tell you that he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?"

Mikayah said, "Therefore, hear the word of Yahowah! I saw Yahowah sitting on His throne, and all the army of heaven standing by Him on His right hand and on His left. Yahowah said, 'Who will entice Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth Gilead?'

"One said one thing, and another said another. A spirit came out and stood before Yahowah, and said, 'I will entice him.'

"Yahowah said to him, 'How?'

"He said, 'I will go out and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.'

"He [Yahowah] said, 'You will entice him, and you will also prevail. Go out and do so.'

"Now therefore, behold, Yahowah has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets: Yahowah has spoken evil concerning you!"

Then Zidkiyah the son of Kina'anah came near, and struck Mikayah on the cheek, and said, "Which way did the Spirit of Yahowah go from me to speak to you?"

Mikayah said, "Behold, you will see on that day, when you go into an inner room to hide yourself."

The king of Isra'el said, "Take Mikayah, and carry him back to Amon, the governor of the city, and to Yoash, the king's son. Say, 'Thus says the king, "Put this fellow in the prison, and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction, until I come in peace." ' "

Mikayah said, "If you return at all in peace, Yahowah has not spoken by me. Listen, all you people!"

So the king of Isra'el and Yehoshaphat, the king of Yahudah, went up to Ramoth Gilead. The king of Isra'el said to Yehoshaphat, "I will disguise myself, and go into the battle; but you put on your robes."

The king of Isra'el disguised himself, and went into the battle.

Now the king of Syria had commanded the thirty-two captains of his chariots, saying, "Fight neither with small nor great, except only with the king of Isra'el."

It happened, when the captains of the chariots saw Yehoshaphat, that they said, "Surely that is the king of Isra'el!" And they turned aside to fight against him. Yehoshaphat cried out. It happened, when the captains of the chariots saw that it was not the king of Isra'el, that they turned back from pursuing him.

A certain man drew his bow at random and struck the king of Isra'el between the joints of the armor. So he said to the driver of his chariot, "Turn your hand and carry me out of the battle, for I am severely wounded."

The battle increased that day. The king was propped up in his chariot facing the Syrians, and died at evening. The blood ran out of the wound into the bottom of the chariot. A cry went throughout the army about the going down of the sun, saying, "Every man to his city, and every man to his country!"

So the king died and was brought to Samaria, and they buried the king in Samaria. They washed the chariot by the pool of Samaria, where the prostitutes washed themselves, and the dogs licked up his blood according to the word of Yahowah which He spoke. (NOTE: see below to read Yahowah's prophecy concerning how Ahab would die)

Now the rest of the acts of Ahab, and all that he did, and the ivory house which he built, and all the cities that he built, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Isra'el? So Ahab slept with his fathers, and his son, Ahazyahu, reigned in his place.

Yahowah's prophecy regarding the death of Ahab

1 Melekim / 1 Kings 21:16-19
It happened, when Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, that Ahab rose up to go down to the vineyard of Naboth the Isra'elite, to take possession of it.

The word of Yahowah came to Eliyah the Tishbite, saying, "Arise, go down to meet Ahab, king of Isra'el, who dwells in Samaria. Behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, where he has gone down to take possession of it. You shall speak to him, saying, 'Thus says Yahowah, "Have you killed and also taken possession? In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth, dogs will lick your blood, even yours." ' "

The Towrah

"Towrah" is a Hebrew word which means "source of teaching, direction, instruction, and guidance". It does not mean "law". The Towrah consists of the first 6 books of the Scriptures (mislabeled "The Law" by the Christians, part of their imaginary "Old Testament"). The books of the Towrah are:

    BaResyth—In the Beginning—misnamed Genesis
    Shemoth—Names—misnamed Exodus
    Qara—Called Out—misnamed Leviticus
    BaMidbar—In the Wilderness—misnamed Numbers
    Dabarim—Words—misnamed Deuteronomy
("Deuteronomy" is based on the Late Latin deuteronomium, from the Greek deuteronomion, and it means "A Second Law", the very idea of which is repugnant because there is no Law in the first place. "The Law" is a religious myth started by the rabbis, themselves an illegal sect created during the Babylonian captivity of the Hebrew people. Yahowah never mentions anything about rabbis in His Towrah! This stuff gets really interesting, so please stick around.)
    Yahowsha—Yah Saves—misnamed Joshua

About the Book of Acts

The book of Acts is not to be considered inspired. It was written by Luke, a physician who was doing double duty as a historian. He never met Yahowsha and did not have firsthand knowledge of His life or sayings. Luke recorded those things he was told by people he trusted. I am of the opinion that what Luke tells us about Shimone Kepha (Simon Peter) is accurate, but I do not trust what he wrote about Paul. It would seem that Luke became Paul's personal secretary, more or less, and obediently wrote what he was told to write by his employer, Paul, a man who loved to boast about himself, who always presented himself as the great hero of God, who pronounced everlasting damnation on everyone who disagreed with his preaching, who always misquoted Yah's Word, and who admitted to being demonized. Sadly, Luke does not seem to have filtered Paul's information through reason or the verifiable supporting data from the Yah's Word. We have no one's word but Paul's that Yahowsha singled him out to be His vessel to take the Beneficial and Healing Message to the Gentiles. And since Paul preaches against living our lives in harmony with Yahowah's Towrah, he was most certainly not sent by Yahowsha, Who made it clear that His coming did not mean that the Towrah was being put out to pasture in favor of some new "salvation by grace through faith" nonsense.
