Let's Keep Going!

Yahowah lifts up / Yirmeyah / Jeremiah 16:19,21
O Yahowah, my strength, and my stronghold,
and my refuge in the day of distress,
to You the nations will come
from the ends of the earth and say,
"Our fathers have inherited nothing
but falsehood, futility and things of no profit."

"Therefore, behold! I am going to make them know!
This time, I shall make them know
        My power and My might!
They will know that My name is Yahowah."

For centuries our fathers have inherited falsehood, futility and things of no profit from their religious leaders. Catholics, Christians, and Talmudic Jews have been systematically indoctrinated with lies, false doctrines, and worthless traditions by their popes, priests, pastors, teachers, and rabbis. Self-serving men have corrupted, taken away from, and added to Yahowah's Word in direct opposition to the very Word they claim to revere.

But Yahowah has been faithful to those of us who seek Him with all our hearts. He has not allowed His eternal truths to perish, for His Word is forever established, just as the Teacher Yahowsha declared:

Yah has given us a gift / Mattanyah / Matthew 5:17-19
"Do not think that I come to disintegrate or annul the Teachings or the Prophets; I did not come to disintegrate or annul, but to bring its complete rendering. With trustworthy firmness I say to you, until sky and land pass away, not the smallest Hebrew letter or stroke shall go away from the Teachings until all events appear in history. Whoever, then, annuls, subverts, or deprives of its authority one of the very smallest of the instructions and prescriptions for living shall be called so small in the realm of heaven as to be insignificant; but whoever does and teaches them shall be called highly esteemed in the realm of heaven."

Yahowsha wants us to know that we who will be living in the realm of heaven will regard as unimaginably minute, so much so they will be totally insignificant to us, those who annulled, subverted, or deprived of its authority any part of Yahowah's Teaching. Notice, too, that He did NOT say that those insignificant entities would be in heaven with us. He merely describes how they will be thought of there. That's important to understand.

Yahowah's Word, as delivered to and completely recorded by Moshe (Moses), is a gift to guide us through this life. That Word is called the Teachings, which in Hebrew is the multi-faceted word, Towrah. Towrah means "instruction, guidance, direction, prescriptions for living, and the means for resolving disputes." Towrah does not mean "law". In fact, Hebrew doesn't even have a word for "obey". If you look up "obey" in Strong's Hebrew Lexicon, you find most frequently the Hebrew word, shamar. And when you dig into the meaning of shamar you discover that it actually means to listen carefully, to pay attention to, to closely examine. So why do the English translators translate shamar as "obey"? Think about it. It will come to you.

Yahowah's Word, then, is our set of instructions, our Manufacturer's Official User's Guide. It is not "The Law of Moses".

The Towrah is not a means to enslave us, despite Paul's unsupportable claim that it is. Remember, after all, that Yahowah give us His Towrah immediately after freeing His people from 400 years of slavery! So rather than being a means to enslave us, Yahowah's Towrah is His set of directions for us which describes how we can live in a manner that tends to please Him, doing those things of which He approves and rejecting those things of which He disapproves. Rather than enslaving us, then, the Teachings actually set us free to live in a way that allows us to get to know our loving Creator ever more intimately.

That kind of thinking might take some getting used to, but the life to which it leads is beyond description for its inner sweetness and sense of confident security.

Just remember throughout this entire site that I am not affiliated with, nor do I support the teachings of, Talmud-based Judaism. The rabbis of Talmud-based Judaism pollute Yahowah's pure Word. They add to it and they take away from it.

In the same way, I shun with the utmost abhorrence the so-called "Hebrew Roots" and "Messianic Christianity" cults. All such movements are nothing more than religion dressed up a bit differently, and Yahowah—and therefore, each of us who is His—passionately hates religion.

I do not belong to, follow, support, or give credence to any religion.

If it is not written in the Savior's Word, then it is not binding on us.

Dishonest and doomed men might say they have authority from oral traditions and certain ancient documents, but they are deceivers and outright liars to whom we must not submit, ever, for any reason. Yahowsha of Nazareth resisted them at every turn, even going so far as to whip their sorry asses with a multi-corded whip that He constructed with His own hands for just that purpose.

As we've already seen in "Yahowah on Religion and Religious Leaders", every single religion is fundamentally opposed to Yahowah. Let that truth burn itself deeply into your heart. It will set you free!

Because no flesh and blood body could possibly contain all of the Creator—it would instantly burn up—Yahowah has occassionally deposited a diminished part of Himself into a human body in order to walk and talk with us (see In the Beginning 3:8 and In the Beginning 18:1,2,16 below for examples of this). Yahowah's Beneficial and Useful Implement, or Ma'aseyah, Yahowsha of Nazareth, lived His entire life here on earth in perfect harmony with the Towrah. Yahowsha was Yahowah Himself, Emmanu'el, or literally, "God with us", howbeit in a diminished, corporeal form. He knew the Towrah and what it means, for He Himself had written some of it with His own finger, and He had dictated the rest to His servant and faithful friend, Moshe. So when Yahowsha taught on the Towrah, we can be sure that He was teaching with authority and perfect knowledge. Moreover, we can inspect His life for examples of how we might do and teach the divine instructions ourselves.
